Adult game School Days HQ is coming out soon in September 24, 2010, already a demo is out. Which is basically the same game as School Days but with a higher resolution and improved animation. With that, two PVC figures of Kotonoha are being released in January. From Kotobukiya and Chara-ani, Y shirt ver. figures. The Standard has pink lingerie, while the limited Chara-ani version has black lingerie and a different expression.

I’m really glad that Kotobukiya is the main manufacturer, as Chara-ani also works with Toys Works. It looks to be the same sculptor as the other Kotonoha Koto released, but I have no solid information on that right now. I actually like the standard version better than Chara-ani’s limited version. The pink lingerie looks more detailed (or it’s just easier to see), and her expression is more interesting.

The limited edition version from Chara-ani has black lingerie with her black stockings, and a different expression. You can order her from Chara-ani’s shop starting August 8th 2010 at o:oo:oo ~ December 31, 23:59:59. I first saw her at Wonder Festival 2010 Summer, at Chara-ani’s booth. Very little shots and info was on her at the time. I had no idea she was a limited version. I just hope that’s the final base, Kotobukiya tends to fail on the final base lately… Simple would be best in this case.

Wonfes 2010 Summer was just the other day. Companies showcasing their upcoming merchandise. Hobby related things, like figurines. Few pictures were taken of Kotonoha. But I have managed to find at least two, and she was under the Chara-Ani booth. Now Chara-Ani doesn’t do GK from what I’ve seen, unless there’s a collab. She certainly does look like Katsura Kotonoha.

Price and release date are not known, at least from the picture given. I will keep an eye out, I hope it’ll be a standard PVC figure release. Maybe Sekai and other characters can be made too? I would assume it’s for Cross Days, the latest installment. But it may be School Days, as the HD version is going to be released soon. Either way, she looks cute already. Chara-ani does good quality figures in my opinion.

An adaption of the PC eroge game; School Days was adapated in UMD format. Released from Palace, playable on the PSP or any UMD device reader. The product costs 6,090 yen, and released on June 30th, 2010. It will most likely just be video play from the title, not known if all routes are available.

When I read PG, I thought it was be a censored one without ero scenes. But from the screenshots it looks not. While the idea is interesting, you take it portably with your PSP. This is down by a third-party company, not 0verflow. Although Amazon.co.jp seems to be selling it. A price that high, better deliver quality. Having already the PC game, I do not see the need in getting this.

Also a Summer Days UMD PG Edition is set to release in September 2010.

School Days is being remade for re-release in high quality format. It’ll go from 640 x 480 to 800 x 600 resolution, and is said the quality will live up to it’s recent game Cross Days. The game has been delayed, it’ll be released September 24, 2010.
